It's me, Calyx. I just want to share a story about something amazing that happened to me during our vacation. It was winter at the time. My friends and I had planned to do something a little unusual which camping near our house. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but honestly the idea of camping during the cold season felt exciting. Just imagine: hanging out with your friends, feeling the chill in the air, and making warm memories. So it was me, Sophia, and Elian who planned to do camping. Everything was going great during the camp. We were doing the usual stuff we do just like: drinking some beer, grilling barbecue, and just talking and laughing under the cold sky. But then something unexpected happened. There was a loud bang. Not just any bang, it sounded like an explosion. It startled all of us into silence. Of course, we were scared at first but curiosity got the better of us. So, we decided to check out where the sound came from. When we reached the area, we were shocked to find a young man lying on the snowy ground. He was wearing a black suit with strange accessories, kind of like a nobleman from ancient times mixed with some modern elements. Honestly, he was handsome, really attractive and striking, like someone you’d see in a drama or movie. He looked exhausted, like he had just collapsed. We wanted to call for help, but there was no internet signal in that area, so we had no choice but to carry him back to our camp. Since Elian and I were the guys, we carried him while Sophia led the way. Back at the campsite, we laid him down on an inflatable bed we had brought. Then we did our best to help him. I took off his coat to make sure he wasn’t injured, while Sophia checked his pulse and breathing. Elian wrapped him in a blanket to keep him warm. We boiled some water and poured it into a hot pack, placing it near his hands to keep his body temperature up. Sophia used one of our first aid kits to check his condition. Luckily, he didn’t have any visible wounds. He was just unconscious or maybe from fatigue or the cold. After a while, he started to stir. His eyelids fluttered a bit, and we all leaned in, waiting to see what would happen next. But then, something unexpected happened. His eyes flashed like the burst of a camera taking a photo. Suddenly, we all fell asleep without even realizing it. When we woke up, Elain and Sophia didn’t remember anything that had happened just they remember only a man but there no other person except us. But I… I still had flashes of memory. I couldn’t really remember his face only the shadow of a man but I know we was a handsome. Just that, the only thing we only remember. Then, strange things started happening to me. Once, I was about to get hit by a car while crossing a pedestrian lane, and it felt like someone pulled me away so fast I didn’t even see it coming. The next thing I knew, I was already on the other side. It all happened in a blink. And now, I keep seeing or sensing a familiar shadow in the crowd wherever I go. I don’t know why but it’s like someone is always watching… someone I’ve almost met. Then, everything started to unfold when I met Carl.
